The first edition of the “Beautifully Coloured” annual family picnic took place in August, 2022 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The event was organised and hosted by Ariyike Akinbobola, Award winning Amazon Canada Best Selling Author, Humanitarian, Media Personality and Nigerian trained Lawyer based in Toronto, Canada.
The event was to celebrate families and the success of Ariyike Akinbobola’s book “Beautifully Coloured” A Children’s Picture Book on Kindness, Diversity, Inclusion and Positive Affirmations on being an Amazon Canada Bestseller. Those in attendance include business owners, professionals and socialites in Canada such as Maryam Muritala – the founder of Canada Vendors, Wale Rabiu, the CEO of Grey Matlock Bakery, Fusi and Bella Olateru-Olagbegi, Shade Ibidapo – Obe and other families who came out to round off summer with fun activities at the Picnic.
From a Book reading and reciting of affirmations to fun activities for the families, the picnic was a reunion of friends and a fun filled family event.
