We have experienced lockdown firsthand. And now, thanks to movie director Moses Inwang, we get to have an outsider’s view of the subject matter.
“Lockdown” is a captivating piece that focuses on different people from different walks of life who coincidentally find themselves locked in a hospital indefinitely because of the potential spread of a virus. They battle a series of emotions — anger, impatience, hurt, anxiety — all the while hoping for a means of escape.
We are set to indulge in this creative masterpiece which sets into motion a rollercoaster of emotions. According to Moses Inwang on his Instagram post, “A lockdown is coming and it’s nothing like you’ve ever experienced before!”
The star-studded movie which is co-produced by FilmOne Entertainment, Sneeze Films, Michael Djaba, iFactory Live and CEM Media group features some of Nigeria’s top acts such as Actress Omotola Ekeinde, together with Sola Sobowale, Jidekene Achufusi, Ben Touitoui, Chioma Akpotha, Tony Umez, Josh Alfred “Josh2funny”, Inidima Okojie, Oluwabamike Olawumi “Bam
Bam” and many more.
‘Lockdown’ can be described as a brilliant fusion of humour and sobriety and will hit the cinemas in Nigeria on 28th May, 2021.
